Gratiot Avenue starts in downtown Detroit and runs northeast all the way through Mount Clemens, the same road that has linked the city to our part of Macomb County since the 1830s. These days I-94 is the quicker way up, and it brings you almost to our door. Neighborhoods on Detroit’s east side, along 8 Mile, are the closest part of the city to us.

About 20 miles from downtown Detroit as the crow flies, and less from the east side. Most of the drive is I-94: take it east to the North River Road exit (Exit 237), and the shop is about a third of a mile from the exit.
Usually, but we look first. Older houses often have original or uneven glass, and not every film suits every pane. We check the windows in your Detroit home, recommend a film that suits the glass and the room, and tell you plainly if a window is better left alone.
Michigan allows any shade on the rear side windows and the back window. On the windshield, tint is only allowed in a strip along the top, no more than 4 inches deep. The front side windows have the tightest rules, so we go through what’s legal for your car with you before we fit any film.
Our automotive tint has a lifetime warranty for as long as you, the original customer, own the vehicle. It covers film defects, and for approved claims it includes the replacement film and the labor to fit it. We go over the warranty and the aftercare when you pick up your car.
It depends on the job. Cars, trucks, SUVs and Teslas are tinted only at our shop at 24614 N River Rd, Mount Clemens, MI 48043; we don’t tint vehicles at homes or workplaces.
