Car window tinting · Southfield, MI
Southfield is one of metro Detroit’s biggest office centers, with millions of square feet of office space. The city is crossed by I-696, the Lodge Freeway and Telegraph Road, and its office buildings come with a lot of glass. At about 21 miles from our shop as the crow flies, Southfield is the farthest of the towns on our list.
Southfield is the farthest town on our list, so we settle the details before you make the drive: tell us the car, try a few shades in our online tint viewer, and we’ll send film options and a price. The tint itself goes on indoors at our Mount Clemens shop.
What we do for Southfield
Car window tinting
If your car doubles as an office between Southfield meetings, you’ll notice the glare on a phone or laptop and the heat that builds up in a parked car. Kepler ceramic tint helps with both: it rejects infrared heat and cuts down the glare. Choose Ceramic IR or Ceramic Plus, and we’ll fit it at our Mount Clemens shop and back it with our lifetime warranty. Southfield is a longer drive than most, so we’ll confirm your film and price before you set off.
Home & business window film
All that office glass is why commercial film matters in Southfield. Big windows let in glare that washes out screens and heat that builds up on the south- and west-facing sides of a building. Solar control film takes the edge off both while keeping the view and the daylight, and our installers fit it at your Southfield building with as little disruption to the working day as we can manage.
Southfield isn’t only offices. Its neighborhoods hold tens of thousands of homes, and they get the same sun as any office tower. An east-facing bedroom can be bright long before you want to be up, and a west-facing family room can bake by dinnertime. Kepler solar control film cuts that heat and glare, and frosted film adds privacy where a window faces the street. We install at your Southfield home and explain the care before we leave.

About 21 miles as the crow flies, so plan on a longer drive. I-696 east to I-94, then I-94 east to the North River Road exit (Exit 237), keeps you on freeways almost the whole way; the shop is just off the exit.
Yes. Frosted and decorative films give privacy day and night while still letting light through, and they can cover a whole pane or just a band at eye level. For Southfield offices, we look at the space, show you samples and fit the film on site. If you’d like your logo on the glass, DLK Graphics can help with that too.
Michigan allows any shade on the rear side windows and the back window. On the windshield, tint is only allowed in a strip along the top, no more than 4 inches deep. The front side windows have the tightest rules, so we go through what’s legal for your car with you before we fit any film.
Our automotive tint has a lifetime warranty for as long as you, the original customer, own the vehicle. It covers film defects, and for approved claims it includes the replacement film and the labor to fit it. We go over the warranty and the aftercare when you pick up your car.
It depends on the job. Cars, trucks, SUVs and Teslas are tinted only at our shop at 24614 N River Rd, Mount Clemens, MI 48043; we don’t tint vehicles at homes or workplaces. Home and business window film, including solar control, privacy and decorative frost, UV protection, and safety and security film, is installed at your property by our team.
